Drew Johnson was named as the Director of Operations at Overlook Retreat and Camp Ministries begnning in May of 2024. Drew has plenty of experience with Camp Overlook as he was a camper at Overlook for 8 years and on staff for 6 years; including serving as a CIT, Counselor, and Adventure Director. A Spring 2024 graduate of James Madison University, Drew received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology with minors in Business and Sports Communication. While at James Madison, Drew served as a Student Coach for the JMU Football Team, working with Offensive Line, Runningbacks, and Special Teams. He is currently working towards his Masters in Secondary Education with Licensure through Liberty University. Drew has felt a calling to serve throughout his time at camp and when the Director of Operations position became available as he was graduating, he knew he was meant for it.
